Description:  This appears to be a lounge car that, if the number 1893 is correct, was rebuilt from a Type D-15 combination 1st and 2nd class coach. Side A is the compartment side and the interior layout is, from the left, a compartment, a compartment apparently converted to a pantry, another compartment probably converted to a bar, and a lounge. .....oo....oo..... SAR Type D-15, Built 1926, Length over headstocks 63' 0", Height 12' 5 1/2", Width 8' 9".
