| After viewing this locomotive, there is no doubt of its Illinois Central heritage. Originally built by EMD in January of 1956 as IC GP9 9165, it went through the IC Paducah shops rebuild program and emerged as IC GP10 #8165. It was sold to the new Chicago Central & Pacific line as their CC #8165 but later renumbered CC #1775. This is a Paul F. DeLuca slide. |
