The Lake Tahoe Rwy & Transportation Company was a 3 ft narrow gauge railroad that ran 16 miles from a connection with the Central Pacific Railway at Truckee, California to the waterfront at Lake Tahoe. The line was absorbed into the Southern Pacific. This car ended up on the Georgetown Loop roster where it is today. It has been restored in 2020. Jim Lockart took this color slide while visiting the Georgetown Loop. |
