WB. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer showing a trio of Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train conductors, c. 1900. None of them is identified by name. Perhaps they've just finished a hearty boarding-house breakfast and are heading off to the Altoona Passenger Station for their return run. Each of them carries his grip and a kerosene lantern. The exact date and the location are not recorded. William E. Burket Collection. |
