Q500 (Radnor, TN - Chicago, IL Barr Yard) crosses Elm Hill Pike (Chicken Pike) as it starts it northward trek. The train is on the Radnor Cut-off, which was built around the time of WWI to allow trains to reach Radnor Yard on the south side of town by by-passing the busy area around Kayne Ave. Yard and Union Station in downtown Nashville. |
