Louisville & Nashville GP30 1058 was parked outside the railroad’s diesel shop at GOULDING YARD near Pensacola. The locomotive was originally Chicago & Eastern Illinois 239 and then briefly Missouri Pacific 590 before moving to the L&N. The railroad’s only GP30s with dynamic brakes were the 1058-1060 (ex-C&EI) and 1070 (originally Seaboard Air Line). |
