Seaboard System BQ23-7 5131 was stopped on the Norfolk Southern at Frenchmen Street in New Orleans, waiting for clearance to enter the SBD at L&N Junction. Number 5131 was on an American President Lines run-through stack train, en route from the Union Pacific (MP) in Houston to Savannah. The locomotive had been built in December 1978 as Seaboard Coast Line 5131 and still wore its original Family Lines paint job, but it was later renumbered CSX 3001. |
