Built by American Car and Foundry for the Soo Line in March 1907. This caboose was sold in May 2016 and moved to Pioneer Village Museum on July 7 2016. Located just west of Cameron, WI, the Pioneer Village Museum intends to restore the caboose to original. It is a good candidate for such treatment because so much of the interior is still in place. There are excellent photos of the exterior and interior along with progress reports at barroncountymuseumcabooseproject.blogspot.com. |
