During the short year or so period that Lake States Transportation ran as a subsidiary of Soo Line. the main line to Chicago was out of service here and only one train a day headed up to Ladysmith and points east, so Withrow was a quiet town. This was during that period and the eastbound train came through about 1/2 hr after I shot this. The depot was razed a few years after this. |
