| Unlike the theme of Field of Dreams idea "if you build it, he will come" the Border Pacific attempted to build an industrial park. They built two spurs into this empty lot (making the trackwork themselves and it looked real dubious at best). A beat up almost ratty silo was hastily errected in an attempt to attract someone to ship something via rail. Eventually, everything was cleared from this lot, but I don't fault the owners of BOP for trying to increase their car loadings. |
