An Oyster Bay train pushes through Queens Village on its way to Jamaica. At left is the Queens Village team yard, an anachronism on most railroads by this time, but a place where cars could be unloaded by consignees without a siding of their own, not unusual in the city. By this time it was used mostly by MOW crews, but still got revenue cars. |
