This is an example from the 574 "Mikado" type locomotives built by PRR between 1914-1917. A member of the L1s class, it had 62" drivers, developed 205 psi boiler pressure for fts 27"x30" cylinders (diameter and stroke). Similar parts were used for these Mikados as were used in the famous class K-4 Pacifics - identical boilers and the same Belpaire firebox as well as many other mechanical parts - thus making repairs much easier.
