The latest acquisition of the Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad Preservation Society is X12. Originally built in December 1906 as an Atlantic Coast Line class O-9 ventilated boxcar, it was wrecked on the M&P who then bought it and turned it into stock car 210. In 1938 it was converted to a flat car and renumbered 110. Car 110 was eventually equipped with benches and used in excursion service before eventually being put into the MoW park and renumbered X12. |
