HLCX 1068 is former Union Pacific unit, waiting for its next assignment in Junction City, KS on 12-12-12. It's called a GP-38-2. Notice the angled paper air filter box in front of the dynamic brakes, the roof-mounted air conditioner, the high-mounted horns, and the third ooling fgn at the rear section. The red stripe between the gray and yellow sections is still in place. HLCX lettering is black. |
