| WAUKOMIS OK Aug 4 1978 -- Rock Island GP7R 4507 leads a mixed freight south as it approaches the E0500 Road crossing on the Rocks north-south main line. EMD built the unit in September 1952 as GP7 1271 (s/n 17602). After the Rocks collapse the 4507 went to the Chicago and Northwestern as CNW 4161. It was retired by the Union Pacific on Oct 7 1996. It was sold to Helm financial and then sold to Hoosier Southern Railroad as HOS 406.
