CB&Q 4-6-4 #4000 at Copeland Park in La Crosse. This Hudson was once an "Aeolus", and had been covered with streamlined shrouds to provide backup power for the Zephyrs.

Richard Burdick General I have photographed 4000 previously in 1998, at the time she was surrounded by chain link fence and was displaying her numberboards,headlight,and Mars light.It is a shame they are not there now,she looks somewhat naked. 6/9/2012 3:27:32 PM
