| FORT WORTH TX June 29 1979 -- MKT GP38 301 accelerates with a hopper train. Note its original red paint showing through in several locations. EMD built the 301 (b/n 35935) in December 1969. When UP took over it became 1976 on Oct 11 1989. It was retired on June 20 1996 when the lease expired, returned to lessor and sold to Kiamichi Railroad where it wears KRR 3812as of the date of this posting.
