NS 5636 and 5623 (2)  Contributor's Pick!       
A southbound freight local with a double helping of GP38-2s passes under the Lane Bane Bridge carrying historic U.S. Route 40, on a very cold January day here in Brownsville, Pa. NS 5636 is former NS 2887/CR 7692/PC 7692 built in June 1969. NS 5623 is former Southern 2766 built November 1969.
