Vinwood Management Company #202/#800114 GOLDEN MISSION, built by Pullman-Standard in 1942 in Lot #6668 to Plan #4069H as 4 double bedroom-4 compartment-2 drawing room (4DB-4C-2DR) sleeper #211 GOLDEN MISSION for the CRI&P-SP; GOLDEN STATE ROUTE pool. Sold to SP in 1942, later to #9110, withheld from Pullman lease in 1967 and modified in 1968 to support car/crew sleeper #138 for dynamometer #137. Later acquired by Vinwood Management Company and rebuilt to a 5 double bedroom-1 master bedroom (5DB-1MR) sleeper, then sold to High Iron Travel. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an Identicolor 35mm slide. Date and photographer is unknown. |
