| Of course in steam days cinders would have cleared the treeline. Nowadays foliage encroaches upon open scenes along the right of way in many places. A westbound manifest crosses the Missouri River and the state line between Iowa and Nebraksa upon this gorgeous former C&NW span. I will still take spring over winter. |
