Arth-Goldau is a important intersection on the north-south line (Gotthard, SBB) and the east-west line (SOB). The first station was built 1876 and at 1882 the Gotthard-line opened. It was 1897 followed by the east-west connection. The RABe 520 shows the swiss rr name in German (SBB), French (CFF) and Italian (FFS), 3 of 4 languages we have in our small country. |
