| CSX adopted this paint scheme, which included the word TRANSPORTATION, in April 1986; but only a few units were painted like this before TRANSPORTATION was omitted about six months later. Freshly-painted SD45-2 8964 still had SBD cab lettering when it was photographed on train No. 472 at GENTILLY YARD in New Orleans. The unit was originally Seaboard Coast Line 2059. |
