VANCOUVER WA Oct 2 1978 -- Burlington Northern F45 6609 heads east toward the Columbia River Gorge. EMD built the unit in July 1969 with builder number 35113 in Big Sky Blue for Great Northern as GN 436. It was retired in June 1984 in BN gtreen and sold in February 1985 to Canadian National for parts. (Roster information from greatnorthernempire.net)
