Description:
Seaoard Air Line SDP35 1115 and Chicago & Eastern Illinois GP35 261 on the setout track at EMD's plant in La Grange, Illinois on November 15, 1964, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Sorry about the poor quality of this photo, it was an afterthought. I was photographing locomotives behind me on Pielet Borthers setout track that were about to be scrapped, and as I was leaving, I turned around and shot this, finishing out the roll of film, not thinking too much about new locomotives. I figured I had plenty of time to shoot these two on a better day. Live and learn!
