Description:
Chicago Transit Authority 54, named JOHN PAUL JONES, on a fan trip at about Crawford Avenue in Skokie, Illinois on an unknown day in March 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 54 was built in 1948 by the Saint Louis Car Company as 5004, renumbered to 54 in 1966 for service on the Skokie Swift, repainted in 1975 for the Bicentennial. Number 75 was trailing.
