these are small b&w photos taken by H.L. Goldsmith at the CN Turcot yard in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in June of 1958. The photos were re-posted on 2/17/2025 after the RRPA crash.

History - MLW, 1918, nee-CGR #478, 1919 CN #5251, Specs - serial #59463, class J-7-a, 69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x28" cylinders, approximate engine weight of 268,000 lb and tractive effort of 39,736 lb.
